Does anyone have any Daycare/Montesouri recommendations for places in the area? Our baby will be a year in the summer, so I figure we should start looking now.
I'm not interested in homecare, only a daycare or monessouri school, ideally one that does both full and part time...
TIA!

Hi B and J,
I would highly recommend Hatch House Montessori which is downtown Whitby. It's not cheap (approx 950-975) but it's impeccably clean, secure, and very welcoming inside. I really like the staff. My daughter spent only 4 months there since she is now home with me but they left a great impression. Hope this helps.
Don't know about Montessori (seems a bit early for that at age 1) but we have both of our kids at Kids Campus on Michael Blvd just north of the 401 off Henry. They have been there for ages and the staff and other kids couldn't be any better. Very affordable as well. The downside is the waiting list so enroll now if you need care next summer. 905-668-5311. Heather is the manager.

Byron Street Academy at the Corner of Byron Street and Mary Street is where both my girls go. The girls love it there and the staff are great. I believe they have quite a waiting list so the earlier you call the better. They do both full time and part time.

Kids Campus gets our vote every time. They have a great Nursery School program too which is great for the preschool ones. Because they are linked with the local school the kids also meet other children who they attend school with. Its been there a long time and last year expanded but still has a waiting list so call and go and visit.
My kids are at Byron too. You can't beat how nice and flexible they are.
thanks everyone
unfortunately, she's to young for kids campus, but we really really really liked Byron Street - we're on the waiting list, so we'll hope for the best!
