Hello All,

Mark Tuesday March 4th onto your calendar.

Together with the Foundation and the local pubs downtown we are hosting a fundraiser pubcrawl.

The theme for the night is Mardi Gras; the kickoff is at the Whitby Legion $5.00 for the meal. We will be serving up with the Woman's Auxillary from the Legion jambalaya. Local celebreties will be out to help kick off the event, Live Auction, Live Entertainment and an Old Time New Orleans Wake.

This will take place at the Whitby Legion on Byron street starting at 6pm.

As the festivities begin we will move along to the pubcrawl, Tickets are $20.00 for the pubcrawl. Participating bars are The Whitby Legion, Tap N Tankard, Gryphon Pub, The Firkin, On the Rocks, and The Tilted Kilt.

There will be live entertainment at each pub, appetizers and silent auctions.

Come experience downtown Whitby, come out with your friends or colleagues to support this great cause. Our ambitions are to raise $10,000 this evening for patient programs; these programs need the support more than ever with the past fire.

Is the pub crawl still on for Tuesday night????

A little late with this,,,but it was a great night, a lot of fun, and for a good cause. Weather was poopy, but other wise, I'm in for next year.

The great news is that we raised $15,000 for patient programs for Lakeridge Health Whitby. Yes I know the hospital is closed but the families and patients are still being supported and need the support until the situation is resolved.

Definitely see you next year.

when is lakeridge opening again??? Its been 9 months!

At present there is a group that is suppose to report back soon; timeline was last week on status of the hospital. When that is reported we will know the "WHEN". There is still some improvements that need to be done; until individuals are allowed in the building to do the improvements we still have to wait.
