Anyone get their groceries delivered?? With who and what can you tell us about it....good and bad!

Thanks!
We used Grocery Gateway several years ago, but then they changed suppliers (from Longo's to Sobey's, I think) and they wouldn't deliver in Durham.  I have recently checked and they are now doing deliveries in our area.  Our experiences with them were always positive.  Check them out at:  Grocery Gateway

I used GG in Toronto and here before they stopped delivering.  My dealing were always very favourable.  If you had a problem with anything they delivered they would always give you a credit.

We used Grocery Gateway in when we lived in the city too. They were pretty good. We just found that their prices were a little more expensive so we stopped using them.
I've used Grocery Gateway back when they were with Longos (for delivery here in Whitby Shores). Service was always great and products were good. I just found that the online shopping part took a long time--I felt like it was just faster to go to the store myself. But we only did it maybe twice, perhaps it gets easier as you use it more often. Once the new local store opens up, I think it will be easiest to just go there.
I found it more expensive but sometimes that's the price you pay for convenience. I also had issues with the selection. For example, I couldn't customize the amount of sandwich meat or veggies, so my green bin started to get a little more full.
We've used both GG & eieifood.com (a local company), and both have been great to deal with. It also took us a while to do the online part (but then we've only done both a few times). However, it was great to be working a night shift, during my break I would order our food that would be delivered home. Great option also when you have two under 16 months... much saner than trying to grocery shop!
