Hello all,
For those of you old and new to the community the sign of spring comes when the "Great Little Duck" race is approaching. Yes 6 weeks away. Volunteers are out there selling tickets for the race.
Race is SATURDAY MAY 10TH; D'hillier Park Whitby.
So how does this work.
1) Buy a ticket; the number on the ticket matches to your duck that is in the race.
2) The plastic ducks are put into the creek at D'hillier park; the gate is lifted and the ducks flow down the creek. The first eight ducks that cross the finish line into the trough are the winners of some great cash prizes.
The day starts at 10am with games for the kids; jumping castles, face painting and the big race is at 1pm.
Tickets are $3.00.
