I noticed there are four orange flags placed on the land on the southwest corner of WSG and Gordon. Do you know if planning has started at this location. Thanks

Sorry for the delay; the flags in place around that corner were Bell Locate flags.
On Tuesday you may have notice the cut that was put into place there for the driveway. This was to assist in the digging.

Judging by the Petro Canada sign on the site fence, my guess is it's going to be a gas station. 
Walking the dogs last night, I saw the flags there too. They form what I'm pressuming is a perfectly surveyed rectangle about the size of a condo building or a parking lot? The land was proposed for at least one condo (or maybe it was 2) a couple of years ago but I haven't heard anything about it since then and the two signs that were up have fallen down long ago. Intriguing.
The intersection Kitties was inquiring about was WSG and Gordon Street. The gas station is being contructed at the Victoria Street/Montecorte Street intersection.
Whoops. I guess I should read more carefully. I saw the locate flags around the gas station site and assumed those were the only ones in the neighborhood.
The property I believe you are talking about and I will look on Saturday; my thought are that this is the lands owned by Liza Homes. Let me confirm the building structure that is proposed.
The property is owned by Liza Homes and I do believe they are planning on putting townhouses there...at least that is what I remember the plans to be 6 years ago.

The lot on the SW corner of Gordon & WSG (north of the hospital) was another developer and the plan was for townhomes in that area.
there sure is alot of development planned for our community...
The lands are proposed still to be townhomes; this is actually coming to planning and development meeting this Monday night.
The flags that you see on the lands are to outline the area for the townhomes; there was some soil sampling being done as the proposal has underground parking for a couple of the buildings.
The schematics have not changed too much from last proposal; which I believe was about 3 years ago.
