I was wondering if anyone could tell me the house builders in the sub division. We moved into our place two years after it was built. Just curious as to what is out there in case we decide to upgrade...

Liza, Queensgate, Brookfield and at least one more I can't remember

We are in a Baycliffe home
Kevin Doble Properties built about 30 homes in the southeast corner of the development before selling off his remaining lots to Liza.
The Brookfield homes are all west and on the west side of Seaboard and Lighthouse.
Doble properties built maybe 20 homes but was the original owner/developer (someone out there can probably verify better then me), I think, who subdivided up the lands and sold to other developers. He went backrupt when he was putting in services for the area and sold most of the undeveloped property to Baycliff. Some of his designs were actually then used in their homes.
The first display homes were located at the west side of the subdivision and ran along Seaboard Gate. They were Brookfield with 5 display homes, who built mostly along the Greenway in the south part of the subdivision (they are the oldest part of the area). My timing may be wrong but I know 5 Doble(i think, or 4) display homes that backed onto the park were part of his plans for the east side of the subdivision near the park. Baycliff first had its sales office on Victoria then moved it onto Whitby Shores, beside Doble. Liza came in around the same time with display homes on Whitby Shores but can't remember exactly where they were. Somewhere in my papers I actually kept the original subdivision designs for a lot of the area as we were shopping for a home/community.
One day we should upload pictures of the subdivision in its early construction days, mud hills, weeds and all. No trees, no fences, only a handful of teenagers, toddlers, but lots of 5-10 year olds who you now see hiking to Henry Street or catching buses to All Saints. These were the "pioneers" of the subdivision who could tell you the best places at the old Psych Hospital to explore, the best tree fort tree, and which new house had the coolest design. Oh yeah and they are the ones who lost boots in the mud as there weren't any sidewalks and had to dodge the construction vehicles in the spring.
Oh the joys of a new subdivision.
