I just received an update from Matt Powers from the Town about our splash pad resurfacing:
"We are currently getting quotes to do the repair work required for the splash pad surface at Portage. We have been delayed somewhat because of our review of the material we used at Folkstone Park and it not meeting our expectations. We are pricing the same material ( plexi-pave) that was initially installed for Portage splash pad when it first opened. As soon as we schedule the work I will inform you of when the 2-3 shut down will occur. Obviously, we will attempt to have the work completed as soon as possible and avoiding
the weekends"
