I have a whirlpool fridge that needs to repaired...it wants to leak all over my floor every few mornings. I need someone reasonable rated and who works in the evening or weekend. Daytime is not an option.

Thanks!

I recommed Farid  416-738-0506.  His rates are reasonable  and his work is superb!!

When you find out the problem could you please let us know because my fridge does the same thing. I"ve just been putting up with it and have a towel on the floor to catch the water.
yes for sure i will.....i have towels on my floor daily!!!!I will let you know....its starting to soak my shelves...LOL
Here we go.... The freezer portion of your reefer (The floor or the back of your freezer) contains the evaporator coil that gets very cold and ices up ....about every 12 hours or so a de-frost timer comes on turning a heating element on for 3-5 min just to melt the ice built up in the coils..... under the coils there will be a drain that catches this water and drains it to a pan under the fridge to be evaporated by the motor (compressor) heat... Thats why when you move a fridge sometimes water will spill from underneath SO... the drain tube under the coils has plugged usually with frozen food debris or other foreign matter. Unplug it, empty the freezer take the floor or back out and clean the drain tube ... (back if there is a fan in the back wall, otherwise floor usually)

Just out of curiosity, does this fridge have water and ice dispensers? If so I would make very sure the connections are tight. I know that my water feed from the basement to my fridge is very taut but hasn't leaked yet.

Jabber.
