Has anyone else noticed the shameful state of our park and the Boulevards in the neighbourhood recently? It looks like they haven't been mowed in weeks. Actually it has been three weeks since the park was last mowed. I remember being there when it last happened. It's starting to look a bit ghetto-ish in my oppinion. The grass is up to my knees! I believe I remember hearing on this forum that the 'hood was supposed to be mowed once every ten days. I think something has slipped. Elizabeth, any input?

i agree...but every summer the same crap happens......how can we enjoy a park that is that out of control???
a question for Elizabeth...
Magically, and through the supreme power of this site, the park is in the process of being cut. On the weekend the grass was so long my little girl couldn't kick her ball more than a few feet. Cross your fingers the city is a bit more diligent for the rest of the summer.

Maybe we should all go out next time and cut it ourselves. A big neighbourhood grass cutting party. Then, we'll send them a bill for our services just like they do if they decide a resident isn't keeping up the care of their property properly. Of course, they don't do that unless the property has been in an unsuitable state for a very long time and give or take a week, they do get the park grass cut long before an intervention could take place. Oh well, it was a good idea for at least 30 seconds ;o)
