Here are our numbers as of March 31st unconfirmed, the DDSB, for where our Whitby Shores kids are in the DDSB system.
The ONLY numbers the DDSB is looking at are our West Lynde numbers. They assume our kids in French Immersion and Gifted would not switch back to a home school and that kids in the other schools are there for other reasons, such as daycare needs.
We have 31 kids in French Immersion (Heard) and Gifted (Miner) programs and 33 in out of area schools (other schools in DDSB system) and 219 at West Lynde.
Our kids in out of area schools in DDSB: 33 (breakdown will be available on the whitbyshores.org forum later in the week)
Our kids in French Immersion : 26
Our kids in Gifted: 5
Total : 65
In West Lynde:

TOTAL BODIES – 262 + 3 Special Ed, FTE (full time equivalent) – 219 (this is the ONLY number that gets counted)
