My sliding screen door recently broke (the frame) and it needs replacing. Unfortunately it is 77 inches high (when as I am finding - it appears that standard sliding doors are 78 plus inches tall.)

I am assuming that there are other non standard 77 inch (tall) doors in the neighbourhood and was wondering if anyone had needed to replace their screen and where you went to get it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have looked online and at Rona and Home Depot.

If all else fails you may want to try one of these... I have been thinking about getting this for one of my double front doors. Don't want to spend too much until I get the damned things ripped out and replaced with a proper 36 inch single door.

thanks! I have seen those also. unfortunately they are only for hinged doors (the track of the sliding door gets in the way of the install). There is one that accommodates sliding doors - it is a bit pricey at $399 (includes installation)...I will likely have to go that route. But thank you for your feedback I appreciate it.
