Hi there!

I have been trying to get pregnant for many years now and I just found out that I am having twins. I am very overwhelmed by this at the moment and I am not dealing with it very well at all.

Is there anyone out there that can shed some light for me. I am very scared of the responsibilities and can not seem to shake this very desperate feeling. I am very worried.

Can you suggest any support programs or I know there are families out there with twins. Maybe you can help.

Thank you
Hi Hope,

I don't have twins, but I remember some of the resource names given to us by Durham Region. This one may be of interest:

Hi Hope,

I don't have twins but the Durham Region Moms website is a great resource of local moms.

Hello,

I have twins and I understand how your feeling. I felt the same way you are. My girls just turned 2.

I would be happy to talk with you about your feelings.

I also have a good twin book that I would be happy to give to you.

Do you live in Whitby Shores?

You shouldn't have any worries, you'll be fine. I'm a twin who also has twins and I can tell you that from both sides of the experience it has been nothing but rewarding.

It will be "three" times as rewarding,,,,you will be ok.
Motherhood has a way of doing that. I'm sure you will impress yourself, at how well evrything will turn out.
I've been there myself,,,so don't worry about it. Enjoy,,,,,,,,,,,
Hooking up with the Durham Region Multiple Births Association is a must.

http://www.multiplebirthscanada.org/~durham/

The have events, great sales (where you can buy two and three of everything!) and you can meet other parents of multiples.
