Has anyone been to the new store (http://www.mybubble.ca)? I'm wondering about their drop in play?
$8 a kid from 3-12 [ages]....looks great inside for little ones...playground etc....the party prices are a bit high but I think i would only use the drop in anyways
I was speaking with the owner, who also lives here in Whitby Shores, and has three kids of her own so she knows what kids want. I got a tour of it while it was still under construction last weekend.

It's very cool. They have interactive floors (one for babies and one for older kids)- just like the goldfish one at the Science Centre. There is also a craft room, where someone will be leading crafts and activities, and an indoor playground which is a great size for even the older pre-schoolers. Look for it to open it's doors in the next few days.

Parents can bring in their own snacks, or buy them there, which I really like. They will also be offering a food option with Annie's next door so parents can have breakfast or lunch there while their kids play.

My family went to take a look at My Bubble the other day. My kids had fun - but after my twins turn 3 in May and the price jumps from $3.00 to $8.00, I would much rather take them to Kids Zone for the price.
The birthday party packages are very expensive.
I have heard that it is quite good there. The owner is apparently working very hard to build on what they already have set up and going on. I hope they make a go of it!

It is nice to have the option of bringing your own snack but I hope someone is monitoring these outside snacks for nuts or peanuts. From the perspective of a childcare worker, it is very scary for children with allergies (not to mention their parents). Just something else our society should really accept and be cautious of.

Can't wait to pop over and check it out soon!
