My next door neighbour reported seeing a suspicious person wandering in our backyard this past Sunday in the late afternoon, in the Seclusion Court area. We were not home at the time nor were we expecting anyone to check our property. He described this individual as being male, middle aged, slim, blonde hair, pony tail, wearing a plaid shirt and jeans. No car was spotted around our house. When the neighbour proceeded to check our backyard, this person was no longer around.

Anyone else remember seeing this person in the area at that time? Nothing was taken and no damage was done to the backyard or the house but we were left with a bit of an eerie feeling about the incident.

Any thoughts/information?
We live on Breakwater and our house backs onto Seclusion Court. I wasn't home Sunday so I didn't see anything, however this is kind of creepy.

Glad to hear that nothing was damaged or taken! Please keep us posted if you get any updates.
This may not be connected at all, but I couldn't help but wonder when I read the following article in yesterday's Whitby This Week:
"Suspicious fire leaves residents 'uneasy'"
http://www.durhamregion.com/dr/regions/t...6804c.html

Granted this was not in our neighbourhood but Gerrie Court is directly north of Whitbyshores on the other side of the 401. The fire happened on the same day (later on in the evening) that this stranger was spotted roaming in our backyard.

I am going to contact Durham Police to pass on the information just in case. In the meanwhile, keep an eye out!
