We are moving in July to Whitby Shores and my 9 year old daughter is wondering if there are any kids her age in the community (we will be on Tallships).

I have two 9 year old boys ...... who love soccer. Tell her not to worry there are lots of children in the area. Especially around her age. We are on the other side of the comunity but I know my boys have a couple schoolmates in the Tallships area. Hope you move goes well!

You certainly won't need to worry about there not being kids in the neighbourhood. Especially if you were moving to my block of Whitby Shores Greenway! It's a great place for kids and adults alike.

We are one street over from Tallships and I can assure you that there are plenty of children around here! Good luck with your move.

Thanks for the well wishes - one of the reasons we chose Whitby was because we have heard how friendly people are and it is so true!
