I am an owner of cats and i love them and other animals, but lately i am getting annoyed. We live on a nice quiet court here in Whitby Shores, but every night we have this lovely little gray and white tabby cat howling at our windows and in our backyard. It is usually in the middle of the night, and our own cats go nuts as well. This wasnt a big deal at first but now it is urinating on our screen door and i am feeling bad for it being out all night even in bad weather. I cannot get near the cat but it does not look like a stray, i am pretty sure it has a home.
So please, if this is your cat, try getting it in at night, it isnt fair to those of us who like to sleep with our windows open. This cat is very loud=)
Thank U
It must be the same one that is turning our garden into a stinky litter box. Please keep your house cats indoors...
Cat poop is nothing like the dog logs I keep finding on my lawn. If they ended up in my garden I might be OK with it as it might add to the earthy goodness... Unfortunately once a cat has been let out of the house they will always want to be out of the house. Feline nature. Good luck changing it....
Jabber.

These cats are making rounds all through Whitby Shores.
For those of us who like to sleep with our windows open at night, it is becoming quite annoying.
It seems to be every other night if not every night lately.
And the best is the fox....not sure how many of you have had the pleasure of hearing this yet, but we had the pleasure of listening to a cat and fox fighting in the early am hours today.
Cat more or less sat there meowing/hissing back at a fox that just would not stop barking/talking/or whatever it is they do. I believe it was the neighbourhood bully cat that won, as when I looked out the window I saw the fox running away down the street.
Another reason to keep cats inside at night, as we live by the marsh with natural wildlife (fox, racoons, skunks, etc.). I can't say I would want my cat coming home mauled or worse, not coming home at all!
We have a neighbourhood cat that has peed on our house howls at our screen door and also climbs our door.
The thing is, we know who this little guy belongs too. If we ever catch him, I am taking them a bill for a new screen because he has riped big holes in ours.
We have three cats but they are not allowed outside without adult supervision!
I can't even get started on this subject.....
I've said it on here before & I'll say it again....
If YOU chose to have a pet please keep it in YOUR home! I don't want a cat yet I seem to have THREE now that thing my yard is their yard!!!
Isn't it illegal for cats in Whitby to be outdoor cats? One friendly feline (a very small kitten) actually has a collar that has it's name and under that "outdoor cat".
Seriously I can't understand it!
I have 2 cats and they are indoor cats however, people have to understand that no matter which n eighbourhood they live in there will be dogs and there will be cats. Animals are inevitable. You cant tell them where to pee [believe me there are signs that say "no peeing"]...and by this I am talking about dogs. Dogs walk and they pee...thats just what a dog does. As for dog droppings...I TOTALLY AGREE to pick up after my dog...no arguments there.
Lastly I wish owners would leave their cats inside but its not up to us. Also its not the end of the world.
If you have a problem with the cats maybe you should call animal services???
Unfortunately where every you go...you will ALWAYS have some sort of animal problem.
