New construction affecting drains??
Disclaimer - this post is in no way intended to blame the purchasers of Harbourside homes for my problems. Tongue

Has anyone else living close to the Harbourside site had problems with their drains crop up suddenly. I noticed that the drain in my main/kids bathroom was slowed considerably a few weeks ago, but just put it down to kids/hair/toothpaste gobs, etc. Within that same week, though, my other two bathroom sinks seemed to clogged, I've been plunging toilets like crazy, and now my kitchen sink drain is super slow and I've had to plunge it as well. I could write it off as poor maintenance on my part if the issue was limited to one bathroom, but to have all three and the kitchen having issues seems pretty strange.
This hasn't really corresponded to the heavy rains we had - it all started before then - so I'm wondering if it has something to do with the new construction. Anyone else experiencing this or have any thoughts/tips for me? I have some of the newer trees in the neighborhood on my lawn, so I don't think I can blame tree roots either.

RE: New construction affecting drains??
how old are the kids? could they be putting things down the drain?

I went to a party once and the kids managed to plug up every toilet in the house before the night was over.
